Jenni Childers
Church Administrator / Director of Victorious Minds
Jenni moved to Cleveland in 2005, planning to complete her Master's degree and then move south. However, God's plan was even better than she envisioned for herself. Jenni has always had a passion to work with lost and broken people. From an early age she was part of ministry teams that worked with people from all walks of life. Jenni's motto in life is, “Every person has a name, a face, and a soul.” Each person comes with his or her own stories, struggles and achievements. God has given her compassion for hurting people and the ability to listen to their stories, give assistance with their struggles, and to rejoice in their achievements. Jenni believes that every person has a choice to make; they can either be part of the problem or part of the solution.
Jenni has worked with ministries in Dayton, Indianapolis, and Chicago. Jenni majored in psychology, sociology and social work and earned a bachelors degree in Social Work at Olivet Nazarene University in 2006. In 2007, she earned a master's degree in Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve University. Jenni is a licensed Social Worker and a Certified Trauma Specialist and does intensive outpatient therapy with families and individuals.
Jenni currently serves as the church administrator, making sure that the general business of the church runs as smoothly and consistently as possible. She also is the director of VICTORIOUS Minds, the Christian counseling ministry of New City, Inc.
